Ingrid Betancourt born in Bogota, Colombia,
1961. Daughter of a Minister for education,
UNESCO ambassador and of a Colombian
senator. She lived the major
part of its childhood in France. Graduate
fron the Institute of Political Studies
of Paris and founder of the party Oxigeno
Verde, she is elected senator
in 1994. she militates for the human
rights, against the injustice, the corruption
and the narcotrafiquants. On February
23, 2002 on the road of San Vincente,
Ingrid Betancourt and Clara Rojas were
kidnap by the FARCS (Fuerzas Armadas
Revolucionarias de Colombia). Ingrid
Betancourt is mother of two children.
