The Governance hyper-cubes are the principal
research I am focusing on.
The theory of hyper-cubes
makes it possible to understand the mechanisms
of governance in a multidimensional way. It
is
based on a conceptual hierarchization of the governance
through three elementary levels:
1 - Principles of
governance ( fundamental concept)
2 - Domains of governance (politics,
economics)
3 - Classes of governance (financial,
social, IT)
The hypers-cubes theory is relevant for the
last level: the classes of governance, whatever
their nature (financial, social, IT).
Each class of governance is defined by different
components, that are the dimensions of a cube
of governance. These dimensions are as follows:
1 - The strategic domains (Alignment,
risks, maturity, etc...)
2 - The framework of practices
(Sox, Coso, Cobit, Itil, etc...)
3 - The organisationnal capacities
Each cube is related to and exert an influence
on the other cubes of governance. For example,
several components of the financial governance
cube directly influence those of the
IT Gouvernance cube (Sections 302/404/409 of
SOX).
The goal of my research is to determine
the rules and processes related to multidimentional
management
of the mechanisms of governance.
The first description of the concept of governance
hyper-cubes was published in the second edition
of the book“IT Gouvernance, Maîtrise d'un
système d'information”, published
by Dunod. For more information, consult the
